TA-Yhtiöt right-of-occupancy application instructions

How to submit an application?

Apartment application section

  • Select the district or location where you want to search for an apartment. You can select more than one alternative.
  • If you want to search for an apartment in a certain district or several (e.g. Kivistö, Vantaa, and Asola, Vantaa), add them to the application. If you select an entire city or town (e.g. Vantaa), the search results will include all properties in the area without any specific limitations on the area.
  • Select the apartment type(s) for the search.

Apartment search criteria

  • You can use search criteria in the application to limit the results. The use of criteria is not required.
  • Please note that the selected criteria will exclude all apartments that do not meet the criteria. We recommend using the search criteria carefully.
  • The “Application to change apartment” option is only available if you are currently living in our right-of-occupancy apartment and you are applying for a new apartment at your current right-of-occupancy property. An apartment in the same property is applied for without a waiting number, so the “Waiting number” field must be left empty.
  • The “New property” section is only available if you are applying for an apartment in a new property. In this case, add the new property as a preferred subject of the application. Please note that, if the “New property” criterion is not active, the application will not be targeted at any new properties in the searched area(s).
  • The “Requirement” criteria allow you to limit the offered apartments to match your required features.
  • The “Preference” criteria allow you to present specific wishes for the property and apartment, but please note that it may be possible that these wishes cannot be necessarily fulfilled in the offer.
  • Apartments for over 55-year-olds: by default, the application includes apartments designed for people over 55. Residents under 55 can also become residents in these properties if there are no applicants who fulfil the criteria. Select the “Only” option if you want to only apply for apartments designed for over 55-year-olds.
  • You can add your preferred properties in different areas. Note! If you are applying for an apartment in a new property, the new property must always be added as a preferred property.
  • You may add preferred apartments, if you wish (these preferences do not limit the apartment search results).
  • If no preferred properties or apartments are shown on the application, please contact our apartment sales team.
  • You can provide additional information about your housing needs in the “Additional information” field. This does not limit the results of the apartment search in any way.

Applicant

  • Enter your personal data and the waiting number issued by the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland on the form.
  • Leave the “Waiting number” field empty only if you are currently living in our right-of-occupancy apartment and you are applying for a new apartment at your current right-of-occupancy property. In this case, select the “I do not have a right-of-occupancy number” and the “Application to change apartment” options.
  • Enter your personal identity code.
  • If you do not have a personal identity code, enter your passport or EU identity card number and date of birth.
  • If you do not have an email address, the apartment offer will be mailed to you.
  • Click or tap the “Add adult” button to add the information of adult family members.
  • In the “Main applicant” section, enter the information of the person applying for a right-of-occupancy apartment together with a primary applicant. The secondary applicant is an applicant over 18 who is a member of the applicant family.
  • The “Add child” button allows you to add the information of minors in the application.
  • There is no need to upload attachments in the application stage.

Wealth

  • You do not need to fill in the “Wealth” and “Debt” sections. This information is checked when an apartment is reserved.
  • Check that the information provided is correct before submitting the form.
  • You can also get a copy of your application by email, if you wish.
  • If the application is submitted correctly, you will receive a thank you message from us.
