As a Finnish, nationwide operator, we offer high-quality and comfortable right-of-occupancy, rental and owner-occupied homes for various housing needs. The majority of the apartments we own are non-profit right-of-occupancy and rental apartments. Our annual production of new properties ensures that apartment seekers can find a comfortable home with us.

The activities of our Group are focused on constructing both non-profit and privately financed apartments and managing the apartments we own.

TA-Yhtymä Group as a non-profit group

TA-Yhtymä Group is a non-profit group appointed by the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland ARA. The parent company of the Group is TA-Yhtymä Oy, which is in charge of the construction and rental of interest-subsidised apartments. The Group also includes TA-Asumisoikeus Oy, Taova Oy and various housing companies and property companies.

As a non-profit group, we provide

  • affordable living costs and well-maintained properties
  • homes for various life situations and long-term housing

As a non-profit group

  • we construct right-of-occupancy and rental apartments in areas with constant demand.
  • we utilise the interest subsidy loans of the Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland ARA, which makes it possible to offer affordable apartments.
  • we define the rental rates, maintenance charges and costs of utilities based on the cost-price principle. These fees allow us to cover the costs of maintenance and the required repairs.
  • we ensure reasonable costs of living as our properties age with long-term planning.

For us, it is important to provide all of our stakeholders, such as the residents, personnel and financiers, with financial value.

Our aim is to create long-term, sustainable housing solutions that meet the residents’ needs and promote their well-being. We are socially responsible and aim to prevent social exclusion by offering everyone a chance to have a safe, high-quality home.

TA-Yhtymä Oy is a member of

  • the Finnish Property Owners association Rakli, which promotes the interests of its members by participating in the public discussion regarding the real estate and construction sector and offering information and good practices for developing the activities of its members.

TA-Asumisoikeus Oy is a member of

  • Suomen Asumisoikeusyhteisöt ry (SAY), an association that aims to promote right-of-occupancy housing. SAY provides current, unbiased information about right of occupancy and promotes cooperation with authorities.
  • Finnish Affordable Housing Companies’ Federation KOVA, which develops the favourable conditions of rental apartment and right-of-occupancy organisations through active lobbying.

Non-profit activities

We also offer apartment seekers privately financed rental apartments and owner-occupied homes. We also own and rent out various business premises.

The privately financed activities are managed by e.g. Tarveasunnot Oy and TA-Asunnot Oy.
