New right-of-occupancy apartments have been completed in the new Postipuisto area of northern Pasila at the end of October 2024. At the address Metsäläntie 10 there are a total of 94 right-of-occupancy apartments, with a choice for different life situations. There are two-room, three-room and four-room apartments of different sizes to choose from. The sizes of the apartments vary between 38 and 99.5 square meters.

The modern right-of-occupancy building has versatile common spaces for residents to use. On the ground floor, there is a house sauna, a house laundry, two club rooms and storage for prams. The basement floor has the block’s shared waste room, two drying rooms, and storage for outdoor equipment, bicycles and strollers. Part of the bike storage is in a cold room next to the parking garage, and there are also bicycle spaces next to the entrances. Each apartment has its own movable storage in the basement of the A-stair.

There is plenty of play and lounge space in the courtyard, which is shared with the residents of other houses in the block. 43 unnamed spaces have been reserved for cars in the block’s shared, cold parking garage, which can be reached from the basement of the residential building. Please note that there are only 43 parking spaces, so unfortunately they are not available for all apartments due to their scarcity.

Bidding round started on 4 November 2024. The offers are sent to us by email to those who have submitted an application. The next bidding round will be launched at the end of November 2024 or at the beginning of December 2024.

Postipuisto’s developing residential area is located next to good transport connections and Helsinki’s Keskuspuisto. In the new, urban area, energy and eco-efficiency and the sense of community in living are especially taken into account. The different apartment blocks and uniform courtyards, the park zone and the community building Postivarikko shared by the residents of the area, with e.g. gym, hobby room and guided exercise.

The city center Mall of Tripla, located in Central Pasila, offers a large number of specialty shops, restaurants and services close to home. A grocery store operates in the same block as the right-of-occupancy buildings.

From Postipuisto, it is about a couple of kilometers to Pasila station, and about a kilometer to Käpylä and Ilmala stations. Pasila has excellent transport connections to the core of Helsinki and all over Finland. Buses also run across Postipuisto, and there is a preliminary reservation for a tramway in the area as well. The population of Pohjois-Pasila will increase to more than 12,000 in the 2030s. In addition to apartments, around 2,000 new jobs will be built in the area. Two kindergartens and a school will also be built in the area in the coming years.
