The digital service does not meet the majority of critical A & AA level accessibility requirements.

The text alternatives of photos have shortcomings throughout the website.

If a video is used as a media alternative for text, it should be marked clearly. For example, the page titled “Right-of-occupancy apartments” contains a text alternative for video content. However, the video is not clearly marked as a media alternative for the text.

The apartment address marked with orange in the section “New properties” on the home page, for example, has inadequate contrast.

The orange titles in the “Vacant and soon-to-be-vacant” section of the home page have inadequate contrast. The blue/orange links on a light grey background in the content pages and side menus have inadequate contrast.

3. Correcting shortcomings

TA is developing a new website. The aim is to launch the website by the end of 2023. In the process, the current identified accessibility shortcomings will be corrected and the state of the website’s accessibility will be re-assessed.

The shortcomings in the right-of-occupancy and rental apartment application forms and the defect report form will be corrected during autumn 2023.
