This is an Arava and interest subsidy apartment. When selecting tenants, we follow the tenant selection criteria set by the Government. The applicant’s housing needs, assets and income are among the factors that affect the apartment.

Comfortable rental apartments have been completed in March 2025 in the northern part of Verkkosaari, Kalasatama, Helsinki. This is a state-supported public utility rental property that complies with Ara’s resident selection criteria.

Vanha talvitie 29 is a seven-story, two-story apartment building with a total of 55 modern rental apartments. All apartments have either a balcony or a terrace, and one apartment even has both. The balconies are mainly located on the street side and are glazed. The apartments on the top floor have their own terraces.

In addition, a new tram line has started running to Pasila. It is also easy to get around by bike and on foot.

There is a comprehensive school and a kindergarten in the area. Services in the Kalasatama area are constantly being developed in line with the completion of the area and the growth in the number of residents. The Isoisänsilta Bridge provides access to the adjacent Mustikkamaa recreation area, which offers wonderful nature trails, jogging trails and beaches for area residents.

Smoking is prohibited in all our apartments and in common areas of the buildings, such as stairwells, saunas and storage rooms.

In new right-of-occupancy agreements made since 2019 and in rental agreements made since 2020, the tenant has committed to not smoking in the property area, except for a possible separately designated smoking area. In new properties, the smoking-free condition has already been introduced earlier.
