Kalkkitie 4 is a right-of-occupancy site for two semi-detached houses in Kuninkaala, Vantaa. The site was completed in August 1999.

Kuninkaala is an area dominated by small houses in South Vantaa near the border of Helsinki. Kalkkitie has good transport connections to different parts. The Lahti fairway runs a few hundred meters away and the bus connections are excellent, for example, to the center of Helsinki. The nearest schools and kindergartens are less than a kilometer away.

The apartments have an air heat pump and a fireplace. In electrically heated properties, an air source heat pump can save up to 30–50% of the annual heating costs. In addition to heating, the air heat pump also works as an air conditioner. In warm weather, it can be used to cool the building’s interior air. Smoking is prohibited in all our apartments and in common areas of the buildings, such as stairwells, saunas and storage rooms.

In new right-of-occupancy agreements made since 2019 and in rental agreements made since 2020, the tenant has committed to not smoking in the property area, except for a possible separately designated smoking area. In new properties, the smoking-free condition has already been introduced earlier.
