The new right-of-occupancy apartments in Kera will be completed in the renewable Kera area, near the Kera train station. Kera was formerly known for the Inex logistics center and later for the Kera halls, which offered cultural and sports opportunities. Gradually, the Kera halls are making way for a new neighborhood and residential buildings. Shops, kindergartens, schools, and recreational areas are planned for Kera. Currently, the area already has grocery stores, a kindergarten, and a large recycling center.
The area offers excellent public transport connections: from Kera station, it is a four-minute train ride to Leppävaara and a 20-minute ride to Helsinki city center. Motorists can quickly access the Turku motorway and Ring II. Good pedestrian and cycling paths allow easy movement by foot or bike.
Estimated completion date is 6/2025.
