Move-in inspection form for the new resident
After moving into your new apartment, please fill out the move-in inspection form within two weeks of your move-in date.
We inspect all apartments during tenant changes. To avoid any misunderstandings, we also ask our residents to complete the move-in inspection form. This ensures that you, as a new resident, are not held responsible for any damages that may have been present at the time of your move-in. The move-in inspection form serves as a document of the apartment’s condition at the time you moved in, which can be useful if you move out in the future.
Please remember that as a resident, it is your duty to report any damages or deficiencies you notice in the apartment. Take care of the apartment, as you are also responsible for any damages that are not considered normal wear and tear. This is in accordance with Section 25 of the Act on Residential Leases and Section 14 of the Act on Right-of-Occupancy Housing. The form does not obligate the landlord or property owner to undertake any repairs beyond what is mandated by the aforementioned laws.
The move-in inspection form does not replace a maintenance request to the maintenance company. If you notice any urgent issues in the apartment (e.g., a leaking tap), please report them immediately to the maintenance company using the online defect report form. Maintenance companies are on call 24/7, and you can find the emergency phone numbers here.
