The Puijon area is also a sports center, with, among other things, a hill center, a baseball stadium, a frisbee golf course and ball fields. There is also plenty to do for water animals! Finland’s second largest swimming pool, Kuntolaakso swimming pool, can be found less than a kilometer away. Next to the swimming pool is the Kuopio Ice Arena, whose winter activities include ice hockey, figure skating and rink ball. The nearby Kuopio Hall, in turn, hosts fairs, exhibitions and concerts. The distance from Opistokuja to Kuopio Market Square is less than a couple of kilometers. Smoking is prohibited in all our apartments and in common areas of the buildings, such as stairwells, saunas and storage rooms.

In new right-of-occupancy agreements made since 2019 and in rental agreements made since 2020, the tenant has committed to not smoking in the property area, except for a possible separately designated smoking area. In new properties, the smoking-free condition has already been introduced earlier.
