The rental apartments at Pyyntitie 1 B are located in an excellent location in Matinkylä, in the immediate vicinity of the Iso Omena shopping center and the Matinkylä metro center. There are a total of 52 apartments on nine residential floors, which are mainly two- and three-room apartments. Some of the apartments have glazed balconies, some have French balconies.

The apartments are aimed at residents over 55 years of age/senior residents. Residents are selected so that at least one resident in the household is over 55 years of age or is retired or has a disability or other functional limitation. Applicants belonging to the target group are primarily selected as residents.

If there are no applicants belonging to the target group, the target group may be deviated from by a special decision of the municipality.

The needs of older people have been taken into account in the design by paying attention to accessibility. The building has a larger elevator than usual, and the balconies of the apartments are also barrier-free. Residents have access to a playground and seating area in the block courtyard, where they can spend time and meet their neighbors.

Matinkylä’s numerous services are just a short walk away, which makes everyday life easier. The versatile shopping center Iso Omena has grocery stores, specialty stores, restaurants, health services, a library and a cinema. Espoo’s coastal path is within walking distance, where you can swim, jog and cycle. Matinkylä has excellent transport connections to different parts of Espoo and the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, both by public transport and by car.

The apartments have neutral surface materials that serve as a good basis for a variety of interior designs. The floors are laminate, and the bathroom has tiled walls and floors. The bathroom has space for a washing machine and dryer, as well as a sink cabinet and a laundry cabinet. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher.

The apartments do not have their own saunas, but there is a cozy sauna on the 10th floor of the building, which has a glazed terrace. Residents also have access to a laundry room and drying room, as well as a storage room for outdoor equipment and apartment-specific storage rooms. 30 parking spaces have been reserved for the residents of Pyyntitie 1 B in the block’s common garage. There are two commercial premises on the first floor of the building.

Pyyntitie 1 B is a smoke-free property. Smoking is prohibited inside the property, on its balconies, terraces and courtyards, except for a possible separately marked smoking area.

Smoking is prohibited in all our apartments and in common areas of the buildings, such as stairwells, saunas and storage rooms.

In new right-of-occupancy agreements made since 2019 and in rental agreements made since 2020, the tenant has committed to not smoking in the property area, except for a possible separately designated smoking area. In new properties, the smoking-free condition has already been introduced earlier.

Some of our properties are completely non-smoking. Non-smoking means that smoking is prohibited in the property, its apartments, balconies, courtyards and common areas.

Check out the apartment before making a decision

You can view the apartment first and then decide whether you want to make a contract with us. If you have accepted an offer for a right-of-occupancy apartment, we will try to arrange for you to view the apartment during the offer round. We also arrange some general viewings in our vacant apartments. Unfortunately, it is not possible to arrange viewings in properties under construction in the same way as in properties that have already been completed.
