New rental apartments have been completed in the new Postipuisto area of North Pasila in 3/2024. A total of 61 rental apartments were completed on seven floors at Rullakkotori 1, next to Rullakkotori. There are options for different living situations: studios, two-room apartments, three-room apartments and four-room apartments. The sizes of the apartments vary between 30 and 79.5 square meters. Apartment types: 1-room + kitchen, 30 m², 6 units 2-room + kitchen, 39-63 m², 31 units 3-room + kitchen, 64.5-71.5 m², 18 units 4-room + kitchen, 79.5 m², 6 units The cozy apartments have either a glazed or French balcony, laminate floors and painted walls. A variety of common areas will be completed for residents, including a laundry and drying room, outdoor and stroller storage, as well as a sauna and a club room. Each apartment will also have its own storage room. The parking spaces to be built for residents will be located in a separate parking garage. The Postipuisto residential area will be built next to good transport connections and Helsinki Central Park. In the new, urban area, special attention will be paid to energy and eco-efficiency and the communal nature of living. The area will be characterized by various apartment blocks and uniform courtyards, a park zone and the Postivarikko village house, which is shared by the area’s residents. The Mall of Tripla urban center located in Central Pasila offers a large number of specialty stores, restaurants and services close to home. There is a grocery store in the Postipuisto area. The population of North Pasila will grow to over 12,000 in the 2030s. In addition to the apartments, approximately 2,000 new jobs will be built in the area. Two kindergartens and a school will also be built in the area in the coming years. There is a preliminary reservation for a tram line in the area.
