About 20 minutes by car from Turku is the beautiful seaside town of Naantali. Naantali is also one of Finland’s most famous summer towns, full of life. Its atmospheric old town is only about four kilometers from Tammisto.
Naantali’s most famous tourist attractions are Moominworld, Naantali Spa and Kultaranta. It also has a fascinating history as a monastic town: the town, built around a Birgitta monastery and church in the Middle Ages, was once a destination for pilgrimages. There is also plenty to see in the city’s idyllic streets and in the more remote corners of the seaside town. Naantali is also part of the Archipelago Ring Road, which provides easy access to the archipelago, for example via the popular cycle route from Rymättylä to Nauvoo.
Torpparintie 7 is located along the street that ends there, and nearby you will find a daycare center and elementary school. Thanks to the good transport connections, it is easy to get around in Turku and Raisio in addition to the services in Naantali. Buses also run via Raisio to the center of Turku every ten minutes during the day and every half hour at night. The nearest bus stop is about a kilometer away.
