16 new and modern rental apartments have been completed in Soittajankangas, in the southern part of the Hiukkavaara center in Oulu, in the autumn of 2018.

The project consists of 14 single-level semi-detached apartments and two detached houses. In this single-family home project, half of the semi-detached apartments are two-room apartments with a sauna, measuring 49 m², and half are three-room apartments measuring 58–64.5 m². The detached houses can accommodate even a larger family, as they have four rooms and almost 80 square meters.

The new residential area, Soittajankangas, located in the eastern part of Oulu, is part of Hiukkavaara, which will be the most significant new construction area in Oulu in the near future.

The new, beautiful multi-purpose building in the Hiukkavaara center houses a school, a kindergarten, a library, a youth center and a community college. In addition, the area is coming up with various hobby opportunities, shops and jobs.

From Soittjakangasa you can easily get to the centre of Oulu by public transport or by car. The distance to the centre by bicycle is approximately seven kilometres. In addition, the area offers excellent outdoor activities and hiking opportunities.

This is a subsidised housing and interest rate location, and we follow the criteria set by the Government for selecting residents. The applicant’s housing needs, assets and income are among the factors that affect the selection of an apartment.
