Perhosenkierto 33, located on the edge of the Honkasuo park area, consists of two apartment buildings and one row house with a total of 58 apartments. Energy-efficient wooden houses are passive houses according to VTT’s definition.

Those who live in Honkasuu have the services of both Helsinki’s Malminkartano and Vantaa’s Myyrmäki nearby, as the area is located right next to the Vantaa border. You can easily get to Vihdintie from the area with your own car, and the Malminkartano and Myyrmäki train stations are about a kilometer away on foot.

Kindergartens, elementary schools and a high school are located within walking distance. The nearest shops are in Malminkartano and less than a kilometer away in Myyrmäki, where the shopping center Myyrmann has, in addition to grocery stores, specialty stores, banking services, as well as cafes and restaurants. There is also a library next door. A good ten-minute drive from Honkasuo is also the Kaari shopping center in Helsinki’s Kannelmäki.

Nature is close to Honkasuu and there are plenty of outdoor trails around the area. Nearby is e.g. Malminkartanon peak, or Malminkartano filling hill, popular with fitness enthusiasts. At the Myyrmäki sports park, about a kilometer away, you can practice a variety of different sports. The sports park has two ice rinks, an athletics field, a football stadium, a soccer hall and a ball hall in the Vantaan Energia arena. Myyrmäki also has a swimming hall with a gym.
